      This has been mis transcribed on Ancestery as Duncan, and I believe this has also been entered wrongly by enumerator. If William did the entry by word of mouth and had a srong Northumberland accent it could be misheard Doncoun for Donkin. I have searched more that one source for this record and using Walter as the search tool only one appears born in the right year and the right place. All the children fit from the previous census as does Willams job
